Business2Business Relief Fund
Cyclone Gabriel has left many of us wondering what we can do to help those facing loss and disruption, particularly in Hawke’s Bay business community who have been the hardest hit.
Recently the Cambridge Business Chamber was offered a donation of $5,000.00 from one of our local businesses wanting to help businesses in Hawke’s Bay get back on their feet. We have also had other businesses approach us to see what they can do to help.
The Cambridge Business Chamber has since reached out to our colleagues at the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce and offered our support. There’s a lot of work to do, and our hearts go out to those businesses that could face years before they fully recover from this disaster – if at all.
While the government has offered $50 million in support to businesses, the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce says this is light and will not provide the level of post-cyclone relief required.
To support recovery efforts, the Cambridge Business Chamber is collecting donations on behalf of local businesses to help the SMEs in the Hawke’s Bay. Please help us, to help them by providing a donation by. Any donation makes a difference.
The Hawkes Bay Chamber will determine the best use of funds for their business community.
