Plastic-Free July Winner: Accounted4
Cambridge Business Chamber is delighted to announce our first winners of the Plastic Free July Recycling station giveaway!
Congratulations and well done to Accounted4 who recently completed a bin audit with their tearoom waste bins. Accounted4 took the time to not only sort through the shared office rubbish bins but also took time to focus attention on their habits around waste management in the office.
Accounted4 have historically shown great efforts in the Waste Minimisation space. With waste mindfulness and management being part of the organizational culture. During the Waipa Business Awards, Accouted4’s dedication and positive acknowledgement of sustainability saw them take out the winning position in the Waste Minimisation Category. Their journey continues. During their Plastic-free July Waste Audit, the team has seen a shift in the team’s commitment to the business’s sustainability journey.
It can be a challenge for us in business to stop and take the time to think about rubbish and how we manage waste. It can also be difficult for businesses to detect the area in which they want to focus their attention. Sometimes you need to go through your bins to really see what you might be missing, every little bit counts!
What are you and your business doing to support Waste Minimisation this month! Make sure you tell us here at info@cambridgechamber.co.nz, send in a picture and write up about how your business is contributing to waste Minimisation in our town.
